Rental Policy

Start Date Return Date and Equipment Pickup:

  • Start Date: The start date of your rental when you will either pick up the rental equipment from our location or have it delivered to your specified address. If you have chosen the delivery option, our team will schedule the delivery to take place between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM on the start date. Please ensure that you or an authorized representative will be available at the delivery location during this time frame to receive the equipment.
  • Return Date: The return date is the day when you are required to return the rental equipment to our designated location. It is essential that you return the equipment on this specified date.
  • Return Time: All rental equipment must be returned by 10:00 AM on the return date. This ensures that we have sufficient time to inspect, clean and prepare the equipment for the next rental.
  • Late Returns: If the equipment is not returned by 10:00 AM on the specified return date, additional charges for late fees may apply.

Return/Cancellation Policy:

  • Prompt Returns: We encourage you to return the equipment promptly to avoid any late fees and to allow us to maintain our high standards of service for all of our customers.
  • Cancellation Timeframe: All cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled rental start date to receive a full refund.
  • Cancellation Fee: If a cancellation is requested within 48 hours of the rental start date and time, a cancellation fee may apply.
  • Refund Process: Refunds for cancellations made within the allowed timeframe will be processed promptly in accordance with our refund procedures. Please allow adequate time for the refund to reflect in your account.
  • Cancellation Notifications: To cancel a rental reservation, please notify us as soon as possible through our designated communication channels. This allows us to adjust our inventory and make the equipment available to other customers.
  • No-Show Policy: If you do not pick up your rental equipment on the scheduled start date and time and have not notified us of your cancellation, you may be considered a "no-show." In such cases, no refunds will be provided.
  • Reservation Changes: If you need to make changes to your reservation, such as modifying the rental dates, please contact us as early as possible. Changes are subject to availability and may be accommodated without additional fees if made within the allowed timeframe.
  • Unforeseen Circumstances: We understand that unforeseen circumstances can sometimes lead to cancellations. While we strive to be accommodating, our cancellation policy helps us manage inventory and provide a fair and consistent experience to all customers.


Cleaning Policy:

  • Cleaning Fee: A cleaning fee of $30 will be applied to all rental equipment. This fee covers the cost of thoroughly cleaning, dry cleaning, and sanitizing the equipment to ensure it is in pristine condition for the next customer
  • Standard Cleaning: Our standard cleaning process is designed to address typical wear and tear, dirt, and minor stains that may occur during regular use of camping equipment.
  • Excessive Dirt and Stains: We kindly ask that camping equipment not be excessively dirty, stained, or soiled upon return. Excessive dirt or stains that require additional cleaning beyond our standard process may result in additional charges to cover the cost of restoring the equipment to its original condition.
  • Hygiene and Sanitization: In addition to cleaning, we prioritize the sanitization of our rental equipment to ensure that it is free from any harmful pathogens. This process is essential for the health and safety of our customers.
  • Customer Cooperation: We appreciate the cooperation of our customers in maintaining the cleanliness and condition of our rental equipment. Proper care during use can help minimize the need for extensive cleaning and ensure a positive rental experience for all.

 


Damage Policy:

  • Definition of Damage: Damage to rented gear includes, but is not limited to, rips, tears, stains, missing parts, burn holes, dents, or any other significant alterations that affect the functionality, safety, or appearance of the equipment.
  • Normal Wear and Tear: We understand that normal wear and tear may occur during the reasonable use of our equipment. This includes minor scuffs, scratches, and wear consistent with outdoor activities. You will not be charged for such normal wear and tear.
  • Chargeable Damage: For damages that go beyond normal wear and tear, you may be subject to additional charges. These charges are determined based on the extent of the damage and the cost of repairing or replacing the affected equipment.
  • Equipment Durability: Our gear is selected for its durability and longevity. We expect our equipment to last for years with proper care. Therefore, damages such as significant rips, stains, burn holes, or missing parts are considered preventable and may result in charges.
  • Inspection Upon Return: Upon the return of the rented equipment, our team will conduct a thorough inspection to assess its condition. Any damages identified during this inspection will be documented, and charges for repair or replacement will be communicated to you.
  • Repair or Replacement Charges: Charges for repair or replacement of damaged gear will be based on the cost of repairs or the replacement value of the equipment, as determined by our assessment.
  • Customer Responsibility: We encourage our customers to use the equipment responsibly and follow the care guidelines provided by our Rental Company. Proper care and handling of the gear can help prevent unnecessary damage.
  • Reporting Damage: If you notice any damage to the gear at the time of pickup or delivery, please report it to our team immediately. Prompt reporting allows us to address the issue and make arrangements for repair or replacement if necessary.
